Colleagues

Please find attached an invitation which has been sent to police authorities inviting them to attend the consultation event which is being organised about police authority inspections.  You may  have received a copy of this document earlier today, sent to you direct by Audit Commission/HMIC, but as the address list they have used appears to be a bit of of date, we are recirculating this to ensure that everyone receives a copy.

The event will be held in central London on 29 April, although the exact details of venue and programme have yet to be finalised.  As soon as we have this information, we will let authorities know.  In the meantime, details about how to respond to this invitation are included in the attached document.

If you have any queries please get in touch with me.

Cat McIntyre
